Your vacation starts here. Nestled at the edge of Plattsburgh, New York, Point Au Roche Lakeside Cottage is centrally located between the Adirondacks in New York and the Green Mountains of Vermont on Lake Champlain.
From the deck of the cottage you’ll love the views of the Vermont Mountains and the lake. Enjoy watching the boats come and go from the marina that’s located close by.
The kitchen is fully stocked with all the amenities you’ll need including coffee maker, pots, pans, dishes, silverware, microwave and more.
On site there are two kayaks and life-vests for you to explore the shoreline.
The cottage is nestled next to Point Au Roche State Park. The park is over 800 acres and offers 12 miles of hiking trails, a sandy beach for swimming, bike path and nature center.
Watching the sunrise in the morning and hearing the birds was incredible. I didn't want to leave.

The cottage is steps away from Lake Champlain. It features 2 bedrooms and 1 bath with a walk in shower.
The lakeside view bedroom has a queen bed and AC. The second bedroom is set up with two twin beds or can be made into a king size bed.
Linens and towels are supplied.
Kitchen has a coffee maker, microwave, dishes, pots, pans and blender.
All you’ll need to bring is your own toiletries and paper products. (TP,paper towels, etc)

We have been coming to the cottage for the past 4 years. It's something we look forward to. There is so much to do. Burlington, VT, Montreal and Lake Placid are all within an hour drive which makes this a perfect location for day trips. Plattsburgh is 10 minutes away.

Reservations must be made in advance and as early as possible, especially during the summer months. In high season (June – September)
The cottage is a weekly rental during mid June -Labor Day. Check in begins on Saturday and check out ends on Saturday (with 10AM check out). During the off season, the cottage can be rented with a 3 night minimum
Check in times for Point au Roche Lakeside Cottage are between the hours of 4PM and 6PM. Advanced arrangements can be made for a later check in if needed. Check out is by 10AM on your final day.
Weekly rental is $1500 and Daily rate is $230 per night with a 3 night minimum.
7 night minimum stay is required starting July through September with a Saturday Check in /Check out for the 7 day minimum in peak season.
